Paul Eiff was born and raised in the Midwest, received his BS and MS in Technology from Purdue University which included extensive studies in design, systems engineering, manufacturing and program management. In 2005, after working for two years as a Program Manager for a small startup UAV company, Paul transitioned to support of the Patuxent River NAVAIR Science and Technology Office (AIR 4.0x) managing Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) and Future Naval Capabilities (FNC) efforts primarily focused on small unmanned platforms and their operations and integration within various manned platforms. In 2006 Paul join PMA 262 (then PMA 263) team as the Broad Area Maritime Surveillance (BAMS) UAS program was entering the early stages of design. He served the BAMS program office as part of the Mission Systems team, the Science and Technology Lead, the Joint Efficiencies Deputy Lead, and concluded as the Future Capabilities Lead. In 2011 Paul left BAMS and PMA 262 to return to PMA 263 and currently serves as an IPTL for the ScanEagle Close Range team. This gives him the opportunity to participate in a more active role supporting the Warfighter. |
